The All-on-4 Advantage
How is the All-on-4 system able to achieve these benefits? Engineering. Researchers working on the problem of getting full arch replacement for people who had limited jawbone, worked to solve the problem by balancing the forces of the denture on implants that took maximum advantage of the bone patients had left.
To do this, two of the implants are placed in the front of the jaw, but two of them are placed further back. These rear implants aren’t straight up-and-down–they angle through your jawbone, allowing them to take maximum advantage of the bone that’s there, which is often necessary because jawbone can be limited in the back part of the jaw.
With this combination, bone grafts are rarely necessary, and we’re usually able to fit you with a temporary denture that looks real and facilitates both function and healing.
Is All-on-4 Right for Everyone?
No single implant solution is a perfect match for everyone. We will evaluate your mouth, your bone, and your bite to determine if this procedure will give you the attractive, functional, and long-lasting results you desire. If not, we will give you other options.
However, many patients are good candidates for a full set of implant dentures.
