Insurance at Our Practice
The significant changes that have occurred in the insurance industry have affected all of us, and it is understandable that some of our patients may have concerns about how these changes may affect their relationship with our office and their overall dental care. With this in mind, we would like to help alleviate that concern by addressing some of the questions our patients may have.
At Rice Dentistry we do not have different fees for those patients with insurance. Our fees are the same whether a patient has dental coverage or not. Our goal is to provide every patient with outstanding service. By not altering our fees based on insurance coverage we are able to use world class quality labs, and lab technicians to produce the finest solutions for your dental needs. Our staff is highly trained and delivers the level of patient satisfaction one would expect from a world class dental practice. We do not believe in the practice of double booking or other scheduling techniques which decrease the amount of time we have to spend with each patient. Your time is valuable and we are determined to give you the best care possible during each appointment.
If Rice Dentistry is not found on your dental plan, this alters nothing when it comes to the standard of care you will receive. At Rice Dentistry, the doctors take time to carefully assess all of your dental needs and then use their higher skills to provide a level care that can often not be found with offices that are tied to an insurance plan’s dictates. After a Rice Dentistry doctor has analyzed the patient’s situation and discussed it thoroughly with them, he then works with that patient to get the best result possible.
Regardless of whether you have dental insurance or not, our highly trained staff will still process all paperwork associated with your dental work. Those patients who have dental insurance plans, whether they are a PPO or another type, can be assured that we will do all we can to help maximize those benefits. However, because of the changes in many insurance plans, the amount paid by insurance companies are increasingly less. We will do all we can to maximize your use of your benefits. In addition, we are happy to assist you in making convenient financial arrangements with our dental credit partners.
Our fees are not tied to any insurance plan. We believe that you deserve the best possible dental care. We do not believe that an insurance company should determine the quality of the care you deserve. We believe you have that right. Everything about our practice is to ensure that happens.
